Quality Materials:

All Thrifty Cabinets are constructed using 3/4” thick double-sided melamine show wood panels (see the “Options” page for colors). Visible backs are melamine and non-visible backs are medium density fiberboard (MDF). Drawer sides are 1/2” thick MDF, and drawer bottoms are 1/4” thick MDF. All materials are LEED certified and CARB 2 compliant. Thrifty Cabinets are built to last and look good for a long long time.

Quality Hardware:

Thrifty Cabinets use only the best hardware available to today’s furniture and cabinet manufacturing industries. Drawer slides are smooth operating and clean looking. They extend to expose 3/4 of the drawer box, they include a lock-out feature, they self close, and they carry up to a 75 pound load with ease. Door hinges are top-of-the-line european concealed self-close with soft-close. The steel legs used on Thrifty Cabinets furniture pieces are strong, adjustable, and finely finished.

Attention to Detail:

Look close and you’ll notice quality in all the details. Exposed edges are rounded over so they’re smooth and appealing. Fasteners are hidden from view. Parts fit together precisely with fine tolerances. Doors and drawer operate smoothly and with ease.
